New members welcome - no experience necessary!
Have you ever thought of joining a Morris side? Well Dartington Morris Men are always looking out for new dancers, whether or not you have previous experience. We welcome new dancers at any time of the year, but our practice season is the best time to start.
Our practice sessions are most Friday nights at 8pm until 10pm, and run from October to the end of April.
We practise in Dartington Primary School, opposite the Dartington Cider Press Centre. There's free parking available right next door at the time when we practice. We practise in the school hall; and if you look on this Google map, you will see exactly where. The best thing to do is to get to the car park at about 7:50pm and walk up with one of our members that will be arriving at that time.
You will be made to feel very welcome and it's a great opportunity to meet the side and get to see us practise up close. Whether you're brand new to Morris, or an old hand looking to get back into it, we would love to see you. We usually follow practice with a beer at a nearby pub, where we often carry on with some music and song, or just chatting and listening if you prefer. You can just turn up on the night, but it's best to contact the Squire, Foreman or Bagman to make sure you come when there's a practice planned. Hope to see you there - we are sure you will love it!
